Powerful Video from Unified Soul Theory

Came across this video and thought about WA, a home away from home for so many of us.

True, we are different people from all over the world. Yet, we are much unified in an ideal. We all want something more from our work, we want to earn a little bit of money, and we want to make a difference. It's not always easy, but the important things in life rarely are.

Hope you like the video.

Great video Susan! There was a book out a few years back, written in the 60'S I think. "Black Like Me" This white guy experimented with disguising himself as black and experienced free ranging in society. He experienced the effects of visual labeling.

Hi, Michael! Had to laugh..."a few years back." Could that be a few decades? =)

Really interesting study, though, considering the times. But, as I see it now, today is a new day. This is one reason I like this video. We will never really, truly know the experience of others, but we can decide how to experience them from where we're at. Anyway, I have been accused of trying to save the world. Character flaw, I guess. =)

Hope you're having a great weekend! And, thanks for the comment! Always good to hear from you.

Dear Susan, I debated about this but since I saw another member admire your profile picture and mention "black eye" I immediately thought of the beautiful yellow daisy like Maryland state flower. That is a good example of "labeling" that I will always remember with affection.

I remember that. A sensitive time in my life, I believe. Speaking of affection, that's a post I feel that way about. It built good friendships. There really is good in everything (well, maybe not the mouse my cat brought into the house a few days ago, but most everything). =)

GREAT Susan. LOL and good feelings all around. I live in Maryland by the way. If you look at the Maryland mascot, it is the Calico cat. The black, white and yellow brown colors mimic the state flag. Ours was the dearest and longest lived pet we ever had. She lived 16 years and is really missed. BTW made the 200 club today (however temporary).

Your state mascot is a cat!!! Wow, always thought they were only wild animals. That's pretty cool, though. Companion animals deserve titles, too. =) Sorry to hear about yours. It's always hard. Sometimes I wished they had the lifespan of an elephant. I have a Russian blue-mix and a Siamese-mix. Both come from less than ideal situations so they both have interesting personalities. Never a dull day. And, congratulations on your rank. Well deserved. =)

Thank you Susan. We now have a lilac point Himalayan (Dusty) who is bushy with yellow piercing eyes and a seal point Siamese (Prince) who is gray black and streaks very fast. Both are endearing and often cuddle and groom each other. Every so often they visit my desk and help my productivity.

Excellent!!!!!!!!

Couldn't play the video, Susan.....do you have a different access?

Sorry, Wayne, I tried to find a version that was not on Facebook but, no luck.

If you're logged into your Facebook account, just clicking on the link about will take you to the video. It's a great video so I'm hoping you'll try again. =)

Hi Susan.....I was able to access it, I just couldn't get it to play. No problem.
Wayne

I revised my post to just provide the naked link. Seems to work fine this way. =)
