I LOVE the new Comment Exchange System
I've been thinking about the issues people have mentioned on the commenting system for a while, and I just wanted to throw this out there for the people who are frustrated by it:
1) I have never heard of any system having the Comment System, or many of the systems, we have here. I think we are unique and it is untested water and we should be thankful to be a part of it, and patient with it. It may take a little time to work through, but it will be worth it.
2) When I joined here I thought I would be lucky to be taught just to build a website, but was shocked to find out that Kyle and Carson are really taking a holistic approach to helping people monetize their set ups, regardless of whether they are WA sites, Niche Sites, etc.
3) When I pay $47 for an entire month of using the unbelievable selection of training and features found here, I am appalled to think of how much time and money I wasted on a college degree in science only to start my career with a real estate license, and how much incredible waste of energy is involved in the college system oftentimes.
4) When I see Carson come here and take care of things despite what is happening with his family situation I realize how lucky we all are that he and Kyle see this system and community as important enough to continue to devote themselves to, even though I'm certain they could both afford to rest on their laurels and spend more time with their families - sell out like so many other systems have, only to be ruined, many times.
I'm hoping that rather than be aggravated about issues with the comment system, we can simply look at it as a Beta-Test of sorts, and be courteous enough to give the guys feedback on it, while looking forward to it being perfected, as they do with everyone else.
I happen to think it is sheer genius, like all their other brain children. It's like riding the "space shuttle" on the first ride. A little bumpy, maybe, but totally worth it!! HAHA

I am with you 100% on this subject Alexx. Not only is it a groundbreaking idea of theirs that has come to fruition, it was also an added power tool to use on our personal sites included in our monthly subscription. That in itself is very generous as most platforms drip feed you with new tools (sometimes worthless junk) every couple of months for staggering 'upsell' amounts! Thanks for bringing this up.

Groundbreaking. That's exactly the word, Darwyn. And that's a great way to put it... they "dripfeed" us to death. I find it a real turnoff. I start to feel that the only reason for the system is to lead TO the dripfeeds. In sales we used to call it "nibbling". It's a sales tactic where you make the person think you're done with the "sale" then say, "Oh by the way..." like the car dealers do when you've already decided on price and they pile on all manner of crap into the financing. I hate those tactics. I never used them and find them to be the height of unprofessional to HAVE to use them, as though what you're selling has no value to begin with. You know? -Alexx
I love your ethical stance Alexx. I do get the whole sales funnel thing but some of these guys are as subtle as a brick. Hats of to Kyle and Carson for sticking to their ethics. This place wouldn't have been of the same quality if they hadn't?
Subtle as a brick! I love your expressions, D! You're hilarious. No, and it wouldn't be growing as relatively effortlessly if the principles didn't walk their talk. This is a battle I had with attorneys I worked with for years: They were so seduced by greed and their own self-aggrandizement they lost sight so much of the time of the fact that they had a DUTY to the clients, and the truth was all they had to do was a good job and business poured in like a landslide. The times when you do a crappy job are when your time gets taken up by problems and complaints and such. It's kind of epidemic in business these days. On the other hand, people operating with morals and professionalism have no trouble competing in the same arena because they look so bad in comparison. -A

I've commented on a number of sites so far without any problems, but haven't requested any comments to any of mine.
I've done exactly the same. Haven't requested anything yet... just saved up a few. A lot are sites that I don't understand, so I pass rather than do poorly for the person. -Alexx
Yes there are a few that you would need to be somewhat of an expert on to leave any plausible comment on. It's amazing at the variation in niches that people find.
My facebook group have the same system, Sharing topics and commenting on them. The difference, there's no ranking. You can leave comments to topics that interest you.
I gotta admit, I'm so behind the times on Facebook. I joined some groups and that's where it stopped. I'm just not feeling much for what to DO in the groups. And I'm avoiding it. I'll look for what you're talking about, thanks. -Alexx
Yeah B. I thought of this when I saw a lot of issues coming up with it, then when I read the update on Carson's son I was just bowled over with appreciation for the guy. Seriously, it's amazing that people can be so selfless in the face of such a serious emotional issue. He's a "real man" right? -Alexx

Thanks Alexx for this interesting and informative post. Although I'm on WA every day for some reason I'm unaware of a new Comment Exchange System. I have started participating in the Comments that are accessed through Rubix. Are these the Comments that you are referring to?
Yes, via the Site Manager, Valerie... where you can find the button on the top right that says Site Comments, and you go in and comment on others' sites and in return you gain credit for people to comment on yours. It's an AMAZING set up. Really genius. -Alexx
Thanks very much Alexx. I'm pleased that I'm on the right track. I had noticed that comments weren't be requested as they had previously been. So all is good now :)
