Up To Tortoise Now!
Hi Y'all, I am blogging here today to share my progress thus far. Back in June, I wrote a blog entitled: "My Pace, A Snail's Pace." In it, I basically whined about the painfully slow progress I was making due to the lack of that most precious commodity: Time.
While the time that I can spend on my computer each week is still limited, I am happy to say that I think I've kicked up the pace a notch. What used to take me 2 or 3 computer sessions to do, now takes me only one. Where I used to ponder a ludicrously long time over a sentence in my post, I now let the ideas that form in my mind flow freely down to my keyboard typing fingers without looking back until the final proofread.
I've also discovered something else about myself. Whereas I used to cringe with angst at the thought of writing a 1000+ word post with the intention of helping a reading audience with a particular problem, it turns out that I actually enjoy it. And, I'm pretty darn good at it! Most all of my posts have been indexed in Google (though I'm not sure where).
And though I've made the flying leap from snail to tortoise, I am acutely aware that I could never have done any of it on my own. Without the constant assistance, encouragement, and feedback of this close-knit community, I'd still be slothing along, at a standstill, or I'd have quit by now.
So here's a big shoutout to all the ambassadors who've helped me (you know who you are), my WA~BFF Cyndi, all you folks in Live Chat who've answered my dense questions (there's more where those came from), and all you members who sent me spot-on links to tutorials to get me unstuck.
Maybe in the coming months, I'll graduate to Loris!

Hi Sue,
it is interesting hat the longer we force ourselves to do something we are not comfortable doing at first , be become almost like clock work in a relatively short time.
You reduce your time by one third that is quit an achievement in only a couple of months.
Congratulations on improving your writing abilities, that is something that will also improve your website as well.
Keep up the great work!!
Calvin
Thank you Calvin and you aren't kidding about the "forcing ourselves"
I went into this kicking and screaming and now I've reached a level where I feel comfortable and confident.

I’m right there with you. Luckily there’s no time limit on us to get through training.
I’ve hit a roadblock lately with a health issue but am working at getting past it.
I look forward to seeing your progress!
Happy Tuesday!

KyleAnn, as long as you're working on getting past it, you will. Have a Blessed Wednesday.
