Your First Blog Theme
A big Hi to everyone reading this but particularly to those of you who have joined and now just can't seem to get an idea for a blog.
There's loads of information on this site and so many people who can help you. I just wanted to give you a bit of a boost and say that I think the best first blog is to write about something you know about. Keep it simple, as you can always change it a little further down the line, when you have learned more.
What do you know about? Maybe you could blog about a hobby, a community you belong to, a place you live, a product(s) you like, your pet(s), the list is actually endless but at the moment if you're stuck for an idea - just pick anyone thing that you think will keep you attention.
If you like or are passionate about a subject then research for blog content is more interesting. But remember if you don't like it you can change it later. The action of building your first blog and the practice of building it, is what is important at this stage.
If you don't like to do too much writing, that's cool because you can upload pictures and video's. You'll learn how to do all of this as you work through each module.
What's important is to take action as soon as you can. You then won't drift away thinking WA isn't right for you because you'll be Achieving your first blog!
One small step at a time will always win through!

Hi Arka, I blog about anything I have an interest in. It might be motorbikes or fishing because my husband loves both. I see his excitement and know how many people love these subjects. i love internet tools and automated systems so I blog about them. I am about to start a blog about emigrating from UK to lanzarote on a motorbike, I also am setting up a site called HFCS Free Diet and that in turn will give me plenty to blog about.
I used to have many blogs but took them down before I moved. I don't know why really but we do daft things at various stages of our lives, I guess!
What I do know is that it is really hard for some people to get that initial idea. No-one should worry because an idea is just that - an idea. As you start to write it will develop a life of it's own and at that point, if there's passion in your posting, people will gravitate to it.

I agree--just an idea. Try one, try another. It gets a newbie over the fear of putting something out there for the first time.
