5 Tips for Newbies at WA
IF you want to LEARN how to do it right and are ready to make a commitment for 12 months . . . then click on the GREEN "Get Started Here" and do the lessons. It will teach you how to turn your passion (music, fishing, bowling, public speaking . . . whatever your PASSION is) into an online business.
My comment about 12 months is to encourage you to do "whatever it takes" to be successful and not "bail" when 3 months goes by and you're not making "the big bucks" yet.
The passion is what will carry you through the slow times.
1) Dedicate a certain amount of your time to your education, just like you were going to school to do your training. You know what kind of time you have available. Be serious about this time and put it into your planner, if you use one. Same time, same days . . . make working in your business a priority . . . treat it like a business, not a hobby.
2) Understand there will be an investment of some sort for you to become successful. WA teaches how to do it yourself. There are a lot of people here who will answer questions when you submit them, but they can't second-guess what is going on in your mind . . . ask questions. I'm working with an affiliate program and using my website to get visitors, trying bring "traffic". It's slow. I invested $100 into a solo ad and created $141.60 in commissions in 48 hours with that one ad (about $45 of that commission will be earned every month). Sometimes it makes sense to invest in your business.
3) Follow people you want to learn from (maybe the top 200) and get emails when they post things. That will help you learn what the successful ones are doing.
4) When someone follows YOU, take a QUICK MINUTE to thank them. It will help YOUR rank, but don't make this the time you have set aside for your training otherwise you will "think" you're doing something to progress your business, but will be only spinning your wheels. A better rank in WA doesn't automatically mean increased profits.
Finally, 5.)Post your thoughts, whether they are good or bad. People will read your thoughts and make comments about what you are saying. If you are complaining about the procedures you are following or have run into a stumbling block, this is where you can get help from the people who have already gone through the learning curve and can provide some quick steps to help you get around the stumbling blocks.
