Don't use Akismet. Akismet Plugin - The Dark Side of Greed. If your website is hosted at WA then SiteProtect will filter out the spam.
Hey guys, how do I redirect a link to go to my website, then the affiliate link url? It's for email purposes, so the affiliate program knows its coming from my website... pleas
I use this plugin https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/redirect-list/
to redirect. You can find it under settings in wordpress, after it is installed you can choose the urls you want.

to redirect. You can find it under settings in wordpress, after it is installed you can choose the urls you want.

So I found a logo online and the designed have a link to download the image for it's free. Can I use this without causing me issues down the road? Wh

A logo is a way that a business can branded, so finding EXACTLY what you want online free, seems to good to be true.
First, you need to read the small print from ANY website professing to offer images free BEFORE using what they MAY be claiming is free. Then you can make a decision from there.
Personally, I have used Fiverr students to create logos in the past. Some logos were awesome while others, well, I never used.

Basing my knowledge from my business class I took a few years ago, that would not be a great idea. Only because in these times, once it has been posted or published, it is copy written. I would hate for you to have to deal with that issue down the road.
On another note, it depends on what exactly you are using it for. If you are going to give the person who originally made the logo credit, then I don't see anything wrong with it.
I say, use your better judgement. I hope I helped at least a little.

There's also Amazon's own OneLink system, for targeting the USA, Canada and the UK with a single link.

Yes that will happen now that WA protects all of our websites with the SiteProtect Anti-Spam. It makes anti-spam plugins like Akismet delete comments.
We no longer need any kind of anti-spam plugins for all websites hosted at the WA.
What you need to do is deactivate and then delete Akismet and any other kind of anti-spam plugin. They are no longer needed.

Hmmm. That doesn't sound good. I never really understood that tool. Now I am even more reluctant to use them. If I approve comments why do I need it?
