Happy With Small Victories. Google Page One.

After being back and active here in Wealthy Affiliate for just 9 weeks and starting from scratch I am happy to report that I have made the first page on Google for one of my low hanging fruit keyword posts. Might not seem much to the more experienced among the WA community but it proves to me, and anyone reading this who may be struggling or filled with doubt, that it can be done. Lots More Spam, Is It Just Me?

Since I have been making comments on other members websites my rates of spam emails has risen dramatically. While I am in no way suggesting that anything underhand is going on it does seem a bit of a coincidence.The thing that makes me suspicious is that none of the emails are coming from my regular spammers :-), all new names and email accounts.Am I just being overly suspicious or has anyone else encountered this issue?

What Have I Achieved So Far?

This time around I am just reaching the end of Course training module. In between my first attempt at making this work and now I have learned so much more about both myself and affiliate marketing in general.One of the things I am really happy with are my ability and confidence to dive in and try to help members here when they are stuck or have a problem. So Easy to Get Distracted.

I have been back here within the WA community for about 6 weeks now and all is going very well for me. One thing that I remember from my short stay last time however has been brought back to me this week.That is how easy it is to get distracted while you are in the WA site.Everyone is so helpful and you want to be helpful too, especially as you build up your website and start looking for comments. You quickly get involved in the stories and hopes of other members, make what you hope are useful

That Scary Moment Update!

Just a quick update on how my request for comments on my website went.The wonderful folk at WA did not let me down :-) The comments were so constructive, helpful, positive and encouraging...................what else would you expect?It has led to me finally getting around to changing a couple of things I knew were wrong but had not sorted out. That Scary Moment

I have now reached that scary moment when I have requested comments and feedback on my new website. It can seem a bit daunting when you press that button and let the rest of the WA community see the new baby you have been busy creating.I feel fairly certain that nobody will be unnecessarily unkind about it and any feedback from other people will be useful but it can still cause moments of worry and panic.Anyway, it is done now and I will wait to see what people think while I continue on with th

Talk About Over Thinking!

So here we go again. After a year or so away I have rejoined WA and begun right at the start of the training. Taking nothing for granted or presuming I know more than I do from first time around.I have now completed the 10 lessons in Course 1 being careful to follow exactly each step and not leap ahead.I now have my website all set up and have moved on to Course 2 where I will be adding my first content.
