Autoresponder for non-US members
(Nearly) everyone who has experience with Aweber will say it's the autoresponder to go for. I took a trial ($1 for one month) and was impressed. I might have signed up for real except I did not want my non-US address sent out with the emails. I want to build a US list but a non-US address might cause some (for all sorts of reasons) to hesitate their joining of such a list. Well, to cut a long story short I did find a reputable autoresponder company that does give their customers an option to not include your address in your emails. That company is GetResponse.

You could get a PO Box in the US if that's an option. Do some checking to see what GetResponse's delivery rates are like. I know a lot of "biz op" guys use them which makes me think their rules are a little lax. Not having an address in the email reflects this, but I just wonder if there are any stats and how they compare to Aweber or other similar services.
Seems like a lot of people use GR though, so it must be pretty good.
I'm not sure but the option of not having your home / po box address included in your autoresponder emails might not be available to US
citizens. GR needed a pin validation sent through to my mobile ph, I guess to make sure I'm resident in the country I claimed to be in at the time of signing up for their free trial. The above option may be available because I don't live in a US jurisdiction.
