Have you heard there are three parts of your retirement years? The "Active" Years, the "Sedentary" Years, and then the part that everyone dreads where everything starts wearing out all at once. You never know exactly how long the active period will last, but if you spend it continuing to work, you can never get those years back.

Those active years are meant for doing things you could never do when working and raising a family. You need to think outside the box. Go visit somewhere you have always dreamed about. But make your visit last 3-6 months rather than a week or two. Or stay even longer if it turns out as good or better than you thought. Make boatloads of new friends who are thinking just like you.
