In Search of a New Niche
Although I've been a member of Wealthy Affiliate for over 4 years, I did nothing at all until December 2018. Then, I started the OEC training and picked a niche I was very passionate about. I tried for over a year, completing training, doing tons of keyword research, writing many blogs, searching for good products to promote, etc. I even hired a coach.
As of today, I have virtually no traffic, and no products that people really need and are searching for. And my competition can produce 50 blogs a week with their large network of members all contributing.
It's time for a better plan. So today, I am starting to look for a much better niche. And I've found some excellent articles on the web about the process of choosing a niche. These focus on very narrow "Sub" niches that still have lots of searches, keywords, and terrific products that people need and are searching for. And yet, they are small and specific enough to reduce the number and size of competitors. Several of the articles are written by members of our WA family.
Not giving up - just changing direction. I'll keep you posted on my progress. Feel free to comment. I need all the help I can get.

Hey Jeff. I’m going to focus on products and services that will make money. That is why I’m doing this. Everything else is just a distraction. I need a laser-focused niche segment and laser-focused content.
That is unfortunate. But this action is a huge step to your success.
We thank you for not quitting.
The first step is not always the hardest, as sometimes a correction step is harder, but it is required.
Well done.
I still totally believe in the Affiliate Marketing business model and Wealthy Affiliate as the best way to learn and achieve success. I’m going to do whatever is necessary to succeed!
Good luck! I’m having a similar struggle but I don’t write enough. I did a new Alphabet soup search on my topic and found about 50 new keywords to use for articles. I’m going to use them this month and kind of begin again. I think the key to success is to be super focused On 1 website in a sub niche. And publish a lot! Just keep at it. You will be successful!
A long time ago (I’m much older than I sound or feel) I heard the concept “Make sure your ladder is up against the right wall”. We want all our efforts to take us to the right destination and in the right direction. This time, I plan to be much more focused on my niche and target audience.

I like the never give up attitude. Very inspirational.
Thank you Ahimbe. Giving up is not an option. What else would I do with my time?
With your new found niche, you should invest time in finding keywords to be used for your articles.
