Keep Climbing Till You Reach The Top
Do you ever feel like this toddler? You're faced with a huge climb. It looks like an insurmountable goal. But did you notice what the toddler is looking at? That's right, the first step in front of him. If he looked up to the top step, odds are that he would just give up, sit down and start crying until someone came to rescue him.
But not our hero! His total focus is on the next step! He probably won't ever look up. As he climbs, he will just stay focused on the next step. Eventually, he will run out of steps, and realize he has reached his goal.
If you and I take a lesson from this toddler, then perhaps Carson and Kyle will be waiting at the top of the stairs with some plane tickets to Las Vegas!
Take it 1 step at a time!

Great post Steve.
Yes indeed one step at a time - a great lesson through life & here at WA. Each step taken will move us forward to our goals.

Very nice and so very true. We are so much like that little toddler here at WA. Wonderful post Steve!

Stevetug52 - I like your post and it is very relative throughout life in all endeavors. One day at a time, the next game is the only one that counts, we're on to Cincinnati etc. Everybody has to have a goal, but if the only thing you have in your sites, is the goal, you will never get there. You need a map of steps to guide you to the finished goal.or many smaller goals to take you there.
Climbing the stairs of life. I, at the age of 78 will still be climbing the stairs when I reach 100. Sitting around staring at a TV at my age would be just filling in time waiting to die.
Tom.
Hi Tom
I will climb too - in a couple of months I will be 78. I have little interest in TV & keep active both physically & keep my brain working.
No filling in time for me Tom.

Great point, and I like your use of visuals to punctuate it. Thank you.
