Is frustration getting the best of you?

This can happen and is happening to me right now with Google Analytics. While I am trying to set up the account I see that for over two weeks my site hasn't had even 1 visitor. I am at the end of my rope and think I'm gonna fail miserably.

That is just an example of how frustrated I can get when I have missed something in the training or have made a mistake somewhere. When I get that way I try not to let it get out of hand. When frustration hits me I have to push away from the computer and do something else, like walk the dog or start a new art project. Something to take your mind off your computer for as long as it takes to get a fresh outlook and attitude.

I have to realize that It's not just me that makes a mistake or missed something in training. I believe it can, and has happened to just about everybody. Here's what I mean.

This is my first attempt at a successful online business. I didn't know what it takes to do a start up. I never gave it much thought. Boy did I have a wake up call. I tell ya, just breezing through the training doesn't cut it. You really need to understand every step they take you through. If there is something you are having trouble with, stop right there and resolve the issue before moving on. How do you resolve the issue?

Here inside the WA community is a wealth of information always available to you. This information comes from people that have experienced anything you are going through so dig in and ask for help in the forums provided. In addition to asking for help, I find it helpful to go back over the training again. That helps me retain more of the lesson and cover things I might have missed. I also take a second look at my goals I have set for myself here. I set those goals without knowing what I was in for. They were more of a dream than a actual educated goal.

Whatever is causing the frustration can be dealt with so don't give up. Step back take a deep breath and jump back in with a fresh outlook and things will fall into place.

So that's why I am writing this blog post. I am almost ready to jump back in but I think I need some ice cream first.

Thanks for reading my story,

Steve
