3 (and a bit more) months checkpoint

So, here I am... 3+ months into my journey on WA and thought it is time to put up another update.

Since January (my last blog and update) a lot has happened... I've revamped my old site, started a 2nd site, changed website themes a few times, attended some of Jay's trainings (the case study series was great!), getting encouraged and motivated by all the great blogs being shared in the community here.

Doing all the revamping and re-considering my niche took focus away but it was needed. Hopefully I am settled on that now so that I can re-focus on building good content.

I am averaging 2 (sometimes 3) posts a week now but split across 2 sites... Yeah I know I should probably focus on one site at this point but I find it helpful to sometimes alternate between so it doesn't get boring.. So i'll continue with this and see how it goes.

Discovered today that one of my posts I wrote about 2 weeks ago is now ranked on the 4th SERP for the keyword - and that's a post I made after learning about the "Best of" lists idea from Nathaniel. 4th page is not great but still not too bad. Pretty excited about it but it is still a long way to go.

This is now giving me the idea of structuring my contents into topic clusters - a single "Best Of" post, surrounded by mutliple "Support" articles about that topic. Will try and see how this works out.
