Milestone 1 - Website with 3 Posts
Took me some time, but finally I did it. In the last 1 week (and a little more), I have managed to setup my website and finally posted my first 3 articles.
After signing up for Premium, its been reading and learning a lot. I took Steve's (my introducer to WA) advise to just read through the whole process before doubling back and started building.
That's a great advice as you are getting the big picture before you even start getting your hands dirty.
I was stuck a bit at keyword research and trying to find what to write but I got some inspiration after a good night's rest and once I got past that, it was quite easy to churn out the 3 articles.
Now that I am executing, I am taking care not to just "check the boxes" in the Certification Course to indicate completion, but to really make sure I complete the steps before checking them off.
Currently on lesson 3 of Course 2 and the next step for me is to go review 2 sites on SiteFeedback and then request for 2 reviews.
So, what's going through my mind right now...?
Feeling that my progress is slow - I feel I am progressing slow and there have been so many times when I feel impatient and want to just blast through all the content. It feels like there's so much to do but all the lessons is teaching me to take it slow... and just make sure I build content organically. Its hard... as I am an action oriented person... But... I will take the advice and learning from here and apply them. Slow, steady and grow the site organically with good content. No shortcuts here,
Feeling a little shy of my site - Although Steve has reviewed 2 of my posts and gave me good encouragement, I still feel a little shy about sharing my site with the broader community. This probably stems from my asian culture of "face value" and fear of "losing face". But I am in this community to learn from everyone and I shall overcome this fear :-)
Feeling good just working on the site - I just feel good working on the site, and I think its because I know I am moving in the direction of building something for myself and my family. I like my job, but this is different. I just feel like writing more and more now. I believe its because I am writing stuff that I am truly interested in and I am learning while I am writing.
Hope to be able to share more progress as I go.

I would appreciate any feedback and suggestions to improve.
Lastly, thank you for taking time to read my little blog post :-)

Couple of thoughts. Slow learning is better than fast stumbling. Don't worry about your pace as long as your making progress. Don't worry about showing people your site. We're a pretty reassuring group. Finally. Keep up the good work. You seem to be making great progress and going about this the right way.
