Almost a month - Where am I?

OK, so I am approaching the one-month mark from when I signed up for premium. When I say "approaching" I mean that I'm around three months in. I think.

It's hard to track time now and honestly the road up to this point has seemed like a blur. It's been so fun and encouraging that my excitement has not wavered!

Ever since going all in and joining premium I have been knee-deep in website designing and content creation that when my site actually got indexed I didn't even seem to feel like it took a while.

Maybe It got indexed quickly? I have no idea of the time span that it usually takes.

Web design

The first week and a half I spent so much time designing a sleek and beautiful site that would be attractive for people. A site that people would come to and automatically trust because it looks somewhat professional.

I feel like I've achieved that vision. Still, I have a long way to go before It's where I want it to be but I like it! I'm glad I do, considering how much time I spent on it. I wrote a few pieces of content during that time. It helped me get my feet wet with writing.

Content creation

I wasn't too keen with writing at first. I've always been OK with it but never actually enjoyed it. Until at least, I started pushing out content for my site. I had maybe one or two articles written by the time I decided to move on from web designing to content creation. Which was only a week ago now that I think about it.

I pushed out six articles last week alone. I'm pretty proud of that fact considering I work full time as well with a two-year old and six months old. I'm starting to actually enjoy writing content and look forward to publishing even more!

So far I have maybe 10 post total, not a lot I feel but it's exciting to me nonetheless!

Getting Indexed

Then at the end of last week I got the notification that my website had been indexed! Freaking sweet! I was ecstatic especially since it felt like it happened in no time! The next day my very first article was indexed as well!

So I went through the whole weekend with the realization that both my site and my first article had been indexed. I was ecstatic but come today a little frustrated. As I went through the weekend I kept expecting more articles to be indexed but they weren't. I added my sitemap to Google webmasters and still nothing.

I know it takes a while for articles to get indexed and ranked but I suppose since my first two indexings happened so close together I build the expectations that I would be seeing them all indexed just as fast.

So where am I now?

I'm still waiting for them to be indexed but I've calmed myself down a little by realizing I'll need to wait. They still have to get ranked too. I've got a while to go but I've already done so much and have achieved some great things!

I'm OK waiting! I'll continue focusing on content and progressing through the training and I know before I know it even more will be indexed!

Honestly I can't believe it's almost been a month! I'm excited and hopeful that the next few months will pass just as fast and I'll see my first bits of income flying through! If it takes even longer, that'll be OK too!

I love my website and enjoy writing about it. I know it'll blow up at some point. It's only a matter of time now!
