Metric Magic 2
One metric which I forgot to mention in my blog on that topic is tracking finances. I consider myself to be somewhat organized, but I decided to take it to the next level with an app called Mint, which is put out by the same people who manage Quicken.
This app connects to my bank accounts and to my credit cards. And before you ask, I use Lifelock and have for a number of years to protect my credit. I also have limits set on each credit card which gives me an alert to my Smartphone if a charge is made in excess of a dollar amount which I can set and change at will.
This amazing little app keeps track of EVERY penny I spend, allows me to set up savings goals and dozens of other very impressive functions. I can set up monthly repeating budgets to see how and where I am spending money.
This “tool” is essential in helping me to know where I stand financially, literally any minute of the day. It took a little time and effort to tweak the program to meet my needs, but it was WELL worth it.
Once again,
Happy Sunday !

Money, we don't need no stinkin money! (Blazing Saddles).
I think there is a free and paid version but even the paid version is cheap.
LOL - Jean - I just LOVE the way you boil it down to the facts. You would make a super investigator !
If has proven itself to be very worthwhile for me Therese. This way I can get it out of my mind and into a form where it smacks me in face when I look at something I should not have spent money on or money I should have put into savings.
Have a great day my friend!
