What is the relative worth of .info vs .com or .net?
While looking through Jaxxy's keyword finder (BTW it is well worth the monthly cost) and seeing what domains are available, I notice that almost always the .com and the .net are taken but some times the .info is available. So, my question is .info worth the time and effort needed to get it going, or should I look for .com's and .net.'s even though most green light QSR's and searches per month numbers tell me that .info should be the way to go?
I'm not sure if I phrased this correctly
Thanks
Steve

It depends what your site is for. If you're creating commercial site where you sell stuff, then .com or .net would be the one to go for. If you're creating a site that is all about giving information in a certain niche, then .info would be great.
.COM is just a favorite, not a necessity. A .info can outrank a .com any day as long at it is more useful to the user seeking the information that your site contains. Rank has to do with credible links. If your .info has information that searchers find more credible to link to, then you will outrank the .com that doesn't.
Hope that kind of answers your question.
Thanks It kind of does.
