Time For Change

I was very delighted with the new platform when I signed in today. I have to admit the old platform was becoming hard to navigate due to the continuous new content that was being added everyday. I am pretty skilled at doing searches (I am a librarian) but even I had difficulty finding needed content within the WA platform. There were actually a couple times that I was able to find what I needed within the old WA platform by simply Googling the content much easier than doing within the WA platform itself. Also, the old platform was not very intuitive at times and new members had trouble discovering where to go.

I really like that we can now go to Live Events and see all of Jay's webinars that he does Friday evening. The only thing that would have made it even better if you could see which ones you watched already and which ones you have not watched, like you can see with the Training section, you can see where you left off and which ones you completed.

I think another improvment could have been made by having a place to add all of our social media links. Before we had to add our social media links under our "websites" and that was not intutive nor did it make sense. However, knowing how skillful and resourceful and knowledgable the WA software engineers are, this may occur soon.

One other improvement I am hoping to see soon is the ability to connect directly to our Google Analytics and Google Console from within the WA platform, because right now, we have to separately login to Google Anlaytics and Console to see how our websites are preforming. Once again, with the ingenuis design abilities of the WA team, I am positive this too may be getting rolled out soon.

Thank you to all of the hard work and intellligence that went into the newly created platform. I think this will also lead to more referrals and I am hoping it will help convert all of those "faceless" referrals - those who do not complete their profiles - into actually completing their profiles and upgrading to premium. All of my referrals right now are all non-premium, only two of them completed their profiles. I had one member who was premium but he let go of his membership a couple months ago. I am hoping this new platform might change things for better membership retenion and profile completion.

Much gratitude once again to the WA software developers and enginners. Thank you for keeping up with the times. It was time for a change and I am pleased with the end results.

Sincerely,

Stephanie, you made some very good observations and inputs.

I fully agree with you that it would be great to be able to connect to Google Analytics and Google Console from within the WA platform. But that would perhaps be an "offense" against other browsers.

In any case I think the new WA appearance looks refreshing.
:-)

Yes you are right. The new platform does have a really refreshing look to it. A new look and feel is just WA needs to show that this affiliate marketing platform does keep up with the times and is involved with the current needs of it's members. The old platform was becoming clumsy and difficult to find your way around.

Kudos to the Carson and Kyle and the WA development team.

Hi Steph good to see you, some really good suggestions, the new platform is going to be a game changer for us , the launch is just the warm up act for what will come in the months ahead.

Hi Alex:

I enjoyed seeing your familiar face amongst the comments. It is great seeing you again too. I hope all is going well for you. Thank you for the compliment on the suggestions. I think it would really simplify things to be able to connect directly to our Google Console & Analytics plus one less password and login authentication to remember would be nice too.

Thank you for reading and chiming in. And yes, I agree it is the first launch of many new things to come.

Steph

I like the crisp clear abbreviated function. How are you Steph?

Hi Michael:

I am doing better. I had some health issues last year that I was struggling with. I had surgery last year to help clear our my sinuses which were preventing me from breathing properly and causing problems such as allergies, asthma, sleep apnea, weight gain, high blood pressure, and other problems. So now that I am doing better, I am getting more involved with WA again.

How are you doing?

Steph

Site activation at last!

That is right! :) And I just completed a new WA training too! :)

Those are some great suggestions you made. The best person to know about them is Carson. Hope he sees this.

Hi Jay:

Thank you. I am hoping that my suggestions for future upgrades is not taken the wrong way. I am really pleased with the new look and design. Have a terrific day!

Steph

It shouldn't be. There is always something that needs to be improved even when you just improved it. Nothing is perfect even though I think this is the best upgrade they've done so far.

I thought it was perfect to be honest but those suggestions you made would make it even better.

Thank you Jay. I am always honest but I am also always complimentary of all the hard work and excellent improvements made as well. Thank you for being a friend. Have a wonderful day.

I actually like the previous look, but this seems to look very clean. I haven't yet "played around" with it yet, so I really can't give any vote, for or against the new look.

Hi Veronica:

Good to hear from you. I hope you are doing really well. The old platform was not bad, but with the size of the data that continued to grow within the platform a new system of organization was a great idea. I have to do the same with some of older websites that I created here. Much of the training I created on my WA website as well as here in the WA platform needs to be updated. I have old screen shots of how things used to look, etc. It will take some time, but I need to do that.

Steph

I actually never thought of it that way, Stephanie. If our posts should be updated periodically, why not the Wealthy Affiliate platform! That makes perfect sense, now!

I am glad we connected. I think we are fortunate to belong to WA because not too many other legitimate affiliate marketing training systems will make these kinds of changes. With technology changing constantly it only makes sense. :)
