Why I made mistake delete my published post?

Yesterday I tried to edit my fourth post, which is already published. After I have finished updating my post, I think the post can update and return the job as it is.
Instead of updating the button, I need to click the Publish button to return the position. I am confused. If I publish again, can I have two similar jobs that appeared in front of all members?
Then I decide to give up updating my post and cancel it. Once I cancel, I saw my post number reduce to three. Immediately I know I have made the wrong decision.

This practice gives us a chance to make our post better. I frequently update my last post on my website by adding more information I get from a particular researching entity.
I hope my mistake is a good lesson for me to learn for continuous improvement.
