I'm back

Just wanted to post quick blog because I'm sure there are people out there who have been in the same situation as me. As you will notice from my profile, I've not commented or posted in months. I joined WA 6 months ago and loved it right from the start. The people, the training, the resources are second to none. After taking advantage of the first 7 day trial, I quickly upgraded to premium and started my journey to success. I flew through the first course and jumped straight on to the second, by the end of week one I had chosen a niche I loved, bought a great domain name, and had my first website online with my about page and my first full page of content.

By this point your probably thinking why I went away. Or more importantly what went wrong. Well the answer to that question in all honesty is me. I was what went wrong. I fell victim to emotions that pulled me away from the progress I was making and away from WA itself. It started with content writing.

I know my niche inside out. Its been a hobby of mine for years. But it was my self doubt, perfectionist nature that was my undoing. I scoured the internet for examples of articles and content, and what I found were webpages similar to my niche. Immediately the self doubt set in. 'I can't write as well as these guys, they've been doing this years longer than me,' etc. Before I knew it I was thinking of changing my niche, I got frustrated, overwhelmed and before long the 'analysis paralysis' halted my progress.

I took a break, just for a few days... The days turned to weeks, weeks turned to months and I started looking for easier, quicker ways to make money online with no success. Then a few weeks ago something happened. I received an email from google telling me my site had been indexed. I was shocked. I hadn't uploaded any content in months. This got me thinking. I must have done something right. But the site has nothing on it why would google index it? Anyway, it was enough for me to learn a lesson.

I had to come back. WA is not an overnight success scheme, it takes hard work, and I did work hard in those first two weeks. But it also takes patience and determination. I always intended to come back but procrastination got in the way. I read on a blog the other day that success is just past the point when most people quit. I like that. So for the past few days I’ve been working on my site, putting some articles together and writing some content. Ironically I'm started to get frustrated with my writing again, but this time, I'm pushing through. Thank you to everyone for your continued support and thank you for taking the time to read, hopefully some of you can relate and will get something out if this. :)
