I made it in Hollywood
These last couple days were spent with a good friend living in the heart of Hollywood. He's not there pursuing a acting career but just trying to make it like everyone else. He is currently an UBER driver. He got in contact with me recently, knowing I would be getting out of the military. He's an outdoors kind of guy. He came up with an idea where it can benefit both of us in business.
He gave me a book to read by Tony Robbins, "Money Master the Game." This is a start of something new. I can feel it.
While on a hike to the Hollywood sign, my fried Julio told me a story. About two years ago, he worked as a valet driver for the Beverley Wilshire. He met A list celebrities coming and going. One person that made a lasting impression had this to say after Julio asked, "what is the secret to success?"
"There is no secret, real quick I will give you the 5 things that successful people do..."
- Work can make you happy, you have love what you do. If you don’t know what it is you love, find something you always wanted to do. And build passion.
- Successful people finish everything they start.
- Successful people work long hours. Regardless, just to get things done.
- Let go of your pride.
- Prepare to have your ass handed to you. You are going to have setbacks but you have to dust yourself off and keep going.
