Rough days.

Last Update: January 10, 2020

Hello everyone! Hope all is good.

I just wanted to jump in and say hi. I haven’t been active in the last couple of days because sadly, my island suffered a major 6.6 earthquake which lead to hundreds of people without a home, most lost everything and sadly, others died.

We were without electricity or any sort of communication for almost a week! I’m still pretty shaken up about what happened and what continues happening. We live in a really seismic zone, so we basically have earthquakes every day, but those are barely 1.0 which we don’t really feel. Since December 29th till today we’ve had about 960 earthquakes to which 50 of them have been felt by citizens. I have only felt 8 but still, it’s a really scary situation not knowing when it will happen and if you’ll make it out alive or not.

For now, I don’t feel emotionally stable enough to be here all the time. I will try my best to be active and continue my journey within my website and all, but first of all, I need to take care of myself.

I just wanted to give you guys an update as to why I haven’t really been as active as I used to.

I really hope you all are alright.

Take care, everyone!

So sorry to hear about the earthquakes. I feel for you because in 1994 we went through a major earthquake in the LA area where tremendous damage and loss of life occurred. It seems your earthquake is much worse.

Take your time to care for yourself and your family. I will pray that the worst is over and that the recovery process will help all those in need.

We’ve had over 1k in less than a week. We’re just barely hanging on. Hopefully it’ll stop soon before something worse happens

I’m sure that’s a very scary scary situation to live through with daily worries about earthquakes. I’m sorry to hear that so many people have been affected and some have lost their lives.

You are definitely right to think about your safety first. I will be thinking about you.

Take care

My goodness, I do hope that you and all will be okay. Take care and just check in here as possible. Safety there is number one for you and the loved ones (and everyone else too)...

Puerto Rico is the island you are referring to? I have relatives and some friends there so I have been getting updates from them. It is such a tragedy what the island and people have had to go through over the recent past...

In any case, be safe and lots of prayers sending your way...

Yes, Puerto Rico has been dealing with so much lately. We haven’t even recovered from the 2017 hurricane and now we’ve had over 1k earthquakes in less than a week.

Prayers for your safety. It's certainly understandable why it would be difficult to focus right now! You have to make sure you're OK first - WA will still be online later for you. You know your priorities right now, and I imagine your experiences might even be fuel for some profound content later on in your WA journey. Hoping you and yours stay safe and well.

Sorry to hear about what happened Stephanie, apart from still being a bit shaken, I hope that you and your loved ones did not suffer any damages.

It is best that you take the time that you need to deal with the situation.

I will be praying for you.
