Just Want To See Ya’ll’s Thoughts On This

Hope everyone is doing alright. I just have a question from a situation that has left me really confused.

So, in the ”provide a comment“ section to help others with their respectfully owned websites its been rare that some comment of mine have been disapproved. And if tbey do, it’s okay! We’re all aiming for something specific that we want to see in our websites, but, is this a reasonable reason to disapprove a comment?

Because why ask for comments when your website will no longer be open to the public in the first place?

I agree with Diane -- it doesn't seem fair. I hope you can work out a satisfactory solution.

It’s alright. I just wanted to bring awareness that this ain’t right for those of us who are reading blog posts and providing the requested comments. It affects them our ability to continue commenting and also the change to earn some coins. It’s just disappointing. If they knew they were gonna take that route, why even ask for comments in the first place? I hope is the first and last type of disapproval context I see.

Hi - I suspect that they are going to abandon this website, so they have disapproved your comment, to get their credits back, to use on another site.

They should simply have withdrawn their request for comments.

This doesn't seem fair to me, as it could affect your ability to comment in the future.

but doesnt the system then just look for someone else to comment, instead of getting your credits back? It doesn't actually get my credits back, it just lets someone else comment on the same post. And I agree, not fair to the commenter.

Good point, and you are quite right!

So, either they don't know this, or were not being honest.

I do actually know who owns the site, if Stephanie wants to take this further.

Thank you, Diane!

That’s exactly what I was thinking. Seems unfair to ask for a comment and then not approve of said comment bc of that reason. The comment in question shouldn’t have been asked for in the first place if this was going to be their decision. They’re not going to get their credits back and it’ll only make others comment as well and also not be approved; which ultimately hurts our ability to comment and earn.
