Getting Ready To Take-Off

Yes, we have arrived. To Friday, that is...

...and we arrive to Friday to get ready to Take off.

Where are you taking off to?

A weekend away

  • Family commitments
  • Destressing yourself
  • Workout and exercise
  • Volunteer work
  • Weekend jobs
  • Work on your online business at WA
  • Lifestyle choices

Mentally, it really does not matter which of the above are your plans for the weekend or even Friday night. You are tune in to take off somewhere and this will dictate your body language and agenda for the day.

Then come Friday afternoon...

“Friday afternoon feels like heaven…“

Friday Afternoon Suggestions

We know the habit of taking it easy on a Friday afternoon. After all, you are already conditioned by getting ready to take-off to wherever your weekend plans are, nothing much gets done except existing commitments.

Maybe it is time to reflect on that.

Do we need change? a new habit?

You are going to take-off, nothing is going to stop that. Maybe you can do a little something that can help your business and mindset.

A way of making your Friday afternoon a little more productive.

You can...

  • Reflect on your accomplishments of the week
  • Think of your priorities for the coming week
  • Establish your to-do list and schedule for the coming week
  • Plan some down time for the coming week
  • Let people know how accessible you are this weekend
  • Tie up loose ends
  • Acknowledge other's accomplishments and hard work
  • Plan a Fun Friday activity

Whether you are building your business here at WA full time or holding a job or running another business and building your online business at the same time, there is something for everyone on that list above.

“To be honest, when I’m home, every day is a Friday for me. It doesn’t really matter what day it is for me. A lot of my friends actually have time off during the week, and so it doesn’t prohibit me from enjoying myself when I am home on a Monday or a Tuesday.“

- Danica Patrick

What Is The Big Deal?

All you full-time WArriors will be thinking this.

Stanley, what is the big deal?

Like Danica Patrick, you will say everyday feels like Friday to me anyway...

Those of you who are blessed to be home all week, my suggestion to you will be

  • Beware of distractions
  • Beware of procrastination creeping in
  • Beware of negative thoughts
  • Focus on your action and goals
  • If home is too comfortable, find somewhere to work
  • Switch of the TV, Netflix, Cable and what have you that take hours away
  • Keep track of time, you cannot stop it

There are challenges regardless of circumstances. We all need to keep our eye on our goals and work on our plans to get there. Overcoming challenges is part of the deal and we should also enjoy our journey...

A quote I overheard...

"I don't work on Fridays, I make appearances."

TGIF

The meaning of TGIF is – Thank God It’s Friday.

Everybody loves Friday and eagerly waits for the day. I believe this feeling is one which is mutual to everyone, all over the world.

It is one of my suggestions to have fun on Friday. Makes the journey more enjoyable.

Enjoy yourself...

Have a great relaxing weekend ahead and enjoy with friends and family!

If you have something to say, say it below...

Cheers,

Stanley

Stanley,

Great job with this post, especially the part about destressing.
I with start my take off around 4 pm today and tomorrow I will destress by watching the Navy🏈⚓/Notre Dame football game.
I'll be vegging out on the couch with some snacks, may some beer or wine and watching good ole american football.

Thanks for sharing your post with us. It reminded me that I need to make more time to relax.

Enjoy your weekend, whatever you have planned. 😊

Hi. Friday is one of my favourite days - finish work for the week. I catch up on house work and do some research for my website and have a bit of relax on the Sunday. Possibly catch up with my grand-children if they are in my area - as they live away from me. That's It - before I know it - it's Monday again...ha...ha.
Have a great one...
