So, I'm Here. Now What?
Good question. This is not only my first day at WA, but also my first serious (if you will) attempt to take financial control of my life.
I am 41, not exactly young, not exactly old. I would consider myself toward the middle. I have never considered myself having a "niche", per say. Perhaps my self confidence is not as high as it needs to be.
I have a fair number of interests, but I find it difficult to identify a "passion". Not so long ago, I had a career in IT. I didn't get very far, but was good at what I did. Life happened, and my outlook is now different in that I no longer want to pursue that in the traditional career sense. I am now a stay at home dad, which, due to the unique circumstances I am faced with, prevent me from having a traditional job.
I like gadgets. I like phones, tablets, computers, gaming consoles, things like that. I would consider myself pretty knowledgeable in the things I like, but far from an expert. From an outsider's perspective (me), information on these topics online seem to be a dime a dozen.
I know that having an online business has been around long enough to be an established way to earn a living and is here to stay. I feel that I want to take the next step, but perhaps I feel like I'm being held back somehow.
I hope that through here, I can gain more confidence. Heck, I think I have taken a step today that not everyone is ready to do, so call that a start! By documenting my journey through here, I want to learn more about not only myself, but perhaps there is someone out there like me who can benefit from this too.
I am here. Now what?

Hi Stan.
Dude, you can do this. Trying to figure out that niche can take a day or two... Or longer. Just start writing down lists of ideas... Something will pop out at you.
