First Amazon UK Sales
I'm usually lucky to get clicks from there but I found orders placed from the UK this morning for products I don't even sell on my sites...gotta love Amazon. :)

Congrats Stacey! That happened to me yesterday from the UK site! Yes, gotta love Amazon! :)
Congratulations, Stacy! I am in the UK and I am a gardener. I think if someone were to be on your site and need Felco pruners and click your link they would automatically get redirected to Amazon UK. But I think in order to get commissions you need to be an affiliate of Amazon UK (as well as Amazon US).
Thank you! The Felco pruners actually go to Garden.com through CJ, so I think that one doesn't matter where the visitor is coming from. I hope.
I joined all the Amazon's I could (all except China, Japan and India), so I am a UK associate too and will get paid eventually from them. :D
I'll be doing the same. Need to build my site out more first because I don't want to join and then not make any sales.
For sure, but don't wait too long. If your traffic is rising then those people could be potential customers.
You don't even want to know what my site looked like when I applied for the first Amazon! Glad it's gone. I didn't make any sales for months and months (and months).
That's interesting. I recently read a blog and some comments that members here lost their Amazon affiliate accounts because they hadn't made any sales within 90 days of getting their account.
Yes, they deactivate you after 90 days without sales but you just reactivate your account.
The emails they send should have a link to do that. I know I reactivated a number of times before I got consistent sales.
Thanks so much for this information. I wasn't sure how easy it would be to 're-apply'. But just reactivating sounds ok. Many thanks!!!
Yes, it's easy. It's either a link in the email or something to do inside your account. I can't remember but I know it wasn't a big deal then.
Well done on your sales. You will get your payment in about 60 days provided that your commission total is over the threshold, which I believe to be £25.
Thank you :) I think it'll take quite some time for me to reach the payout level with UK Amazon (barring any traffic miracles) but I sure will be happy when it happens!
