Culture is a Gift
Our Samoan culture is very unique in its own way. We are taught by our parents to live life with values and biblical principles. We were raised to learn how to live life to its fullest with what we have in our hands not to be depended on others. We are taught to take our culture with us preserving our Samoan language and way of living. I remembered my grandfather telling us the grandchildren that "Our Culture is our gift from God". As I was growing up these words echos to me as a reminder to continue treasuring my culture and preserve it. Our culture is about teaching us how to live and be God fearing people. I am proud to be a Samoan and will always treasure my culture.
I believe we have a very diverse culture with values and principles and I respect every culture because it's a gift from God.

That is beautiful! I'm Hungarian but born in the US. Since I was the first generation here, we were brought up with the same type of principles but the Hungarian way. I am so thankful to my parents and grandparents for that. I am bilingual as well as bi-cultural and I embrace it. It is a wonderful thing! Cheers!
