How did this come to be ?

I have never in my professional life ever wanted to do anything other than my passion.

While there have been many personal passions there has only ever been one professional passion and that was my love of technology. It is what drove me to spend the last 25 years working for a varied collection of entrepreneurs and corporations reach their short term goals of building software and hardware infrastructures that would give them the "edge" on their competition.

Unfortunately for me this passion has waned in the last 8 months. It is within this period of my life my desire to be a part of another rebuild or startup is just simply not there. I want something more than cashing a paycheque and pass my time until retirement ( god knows when that will be). To create something of my own and that my friends is exactly what has led me here.

Like most of you I assume who look upon this journey as equal parts professional and financial I am very aware of the time and work required to make a success of this so let's roll up our sleeves and collectively help each other achieve each of our goal whether they be lofty or easily achievable.

To everyone here who has taken the time to welcome me or follow me to you I owe a debt of gratitude for showing me people still care enough to say hi and to those of you who are here and it is all business all the time I congratulate you as well in finding and putting in the effort to succeed.
