On Sunday I posted an article on my website about an upcoming horror graphic novel called "Prince of Pieces" You can view it if you like here:

I stated in the article that the release date was September 20th and that I couldn't use images because of copyright laws and all that good stuff (it was stated right on the official site for the book).

I came home from work and, as always, got busy with the site and saw I had a couple of new comments. Turns out one of them was from the man himself, the author of the book, Sam Miserendino!

He let me know the release date was set back to sometime in October. So I updated the article of course. BUT, he also said he would be happy to email me a few panels from the book to use on my site!

Yes, I screamed like a school girl in a room full of rats. What made my day was the fact that he, somehow, found my barely week old website in the first place AND is giving me permission to use his images on it!

Sometimes working a full time, third shift job can make you weary after the shift is done. But there's nothing like this to pick you up and let you know you made the right choice in persuing your passion and trying to make it successful.

Keep at it. Never quit. Always believe. And never eat a green taco.*** That's the best advice I can give you!

*** I was thinking about tacos and figured a green one would be bad for you. My mind...wanders at times....
