Being Green Doesn't Sabotage Your Lifestyle
Most of what I enjoy is natural i.e. beautiful scenery or the ocean. anything that keeps it that way makes good sense to me. Not buying any plastic water bottles any more is my next project as that is soooooooo not eco friendly [apparently they are no longer sold in San Franscisco]. We sooooooo need rain here and finally it seems to be on the way. [just in time for a few days at the beach............oh well!...... the cycles of mother nature must go on]
Maybe organising your personal water supply is work but consider the alternative [littered beaches and parks and everywhere]. Much of this plastic could be recycled but it doesn't usually happen and why not just eliminate it altogether.
Mostly I take recyclables straight to several blue boxes tucked in beside my door and never think about them until wheeling the lot of it to the curb. [no hardship there] The compost has beautified and enhanced my vegetable garden. I only need to put a small trash bag out once a month or less.
