Psychology of Marketing

First and foremost, I would love to announce that my domain successfully transferred. Yay. Second, I figure I would spend today doing some homework and of course go through WA to say hi to people and finish up some more courses. I cannot promise uninterrupted time though because as a Regional Marketing Director, I am always consistently on call.

I better finish this blog before my phone goes off again lol.

Today I want to talk about the Psychology of Marketing and what it really means.

Picking a niche, creating proper SEO and keywords, then audience retention. What is the main thing that comes from each one? Engagement.

Its easier for bloggers to create a content and then see major hits but hits are numbers that follows a statistic that goes up and down by months. Your audience retention keeps your impressum at the average it is suppose to be. This is why joining communities and humanizing your website always works.

When people receive responses, they are more likely to keep coming back. I talk about this because its a major thing for picking your niche. Its cool if you don't know anything about the niche that you picked out but always make sure you let your audience know that as well. Say things like "I'm interested in this idea and this will be my research project."

If you come off like an expert but youre not, your audience will know this if it is something that they are aware of. Pick your topic wisely to what you want to share and learn as you progress. No, seriously. There is nothing worst than having a know it all Get pointed out. It will discourage you from continuing your site and you will just give up.

Thats my advice for right now. My phones going off again so leave a comment if you think you can add to this. Ciao!

Great Post When you pick your topic you have to know what you are talking about. But you can't BS your way through it. Because that isn't right to customers when they ask questions and you don't anything you have to know something about your passion if that what it is.

You are correct. There is nothing worst than having to ask questions and then there is no real solution. Just like blogging actual stories, its good that the writer stay genuine and relatable.

You are absolutely right you have to stay true to yourself and write what you know and not lie or exaggerate on anything. You have to be professional and be honest and have your facts straight.

Mary

Your so right about not bs ing your way through a blog. What you say needs to come from the heart, that way you will come across to others as genuine. Most people have plenty of personal experiences to write about or fall back on, that way once a thread starts you will have material to keep it going.
Yes, picking the best niche for you has a lot to do with your initial success. Have fun at WA.

Very true. I believe that when you are blogging on personal experience, people will want to discuss it especially if they went through the same thing. The great thing about that is the rapport. It gives you more content to discuss later and that brings the same readers back because the engagement is there.
