My progress at WA
It feels like forever since I first joined WA, but in reality its only been about 3 or 4 weeks. It blows my mind that I have been able to achieve as much as I have done already, after being such an amateur at the start.
I wanted to document my progress, both for those who are interested, and also for myself to look at in the future; to see where I started and how far I have come, and how far I will come in 6 months, a year, and so on. I have gone from giving up at the first hurdle with WordPress, (deciding I am far too computer-illiterate to even bother), to not only getting to grips with WordPress, but actually having a successful blog. And on top of this, learning all about SEO, keywords, plugins, cookies - all words that I had absolutely no idea of the meaning of until 3/4 weeks ago.
Even though I am yet to earn anything from my site, I am absolutely loving the journey. I love writing my content, I love researching my niche - I guess mostly because it is so personal to me. To those who don't know, my niche is self-improvement. On my blog I write about mindfulness, ways to improve your wellness, how to overcome things like anxiety, and so on. As a sufferer, my main aim is to help people who feel the same as I have - and if I happen to turn it into a successful business, then that's a win win for me!
My traffic is slowly building, too. Over the course of a week, I have gone from zero traffic (yes, literally nothing at all..) to having between 20-50 views a day. Yes this isn't exactly much, but it only makes me think of the progress that I can make in the next 3-4 weeks, and the next 3-4 months!
I'm looking forward to continuing, and seeing how far I can take my site!

Awesome! Glad to see your success so far!
Keep on keeping on and your commitment will pay off nicely.
Thanks! I try to post something every day - if I know I'm out for the day or something I try to get a post scheduled for the day! It all depends on what I've got on I suppose :) At the moment I haven't posted for 3 days and it feels very unnatural!
Sophie - congratulation for making so much progress in such a short space of time. Wishing you every success.
