Why Am I Doing This?

March 23, 2014.

That was the day I married my wife. One year ago today. I had grand plans of starting an Internet business and providing a good life for the two of us.

Unfortunately, things didn't work out that way. Two months later I was sitting in a hospice in the UK holding my wife's hand as she took her last breath. Another victim of cancer.

It has taken me this lone, one whole year, to muster up the strength to even think about the future. A future without the woman I loved more than anything.

I am starting this blog in order to document my journey with WA and my efforts to fullfil the promises that I made to my wife.

Losing someone is never a good thing. I'm sorry to hear about your situation.
I find it very encouraging to read that regardless of how you feel, you hold your promises higher than your grief. I think that out of all the support groups you could have chosen to join, there is no other community that bonds tighter than that of WA.
While people come and go in our lives, sometimes I find that people need to leave in order to make room for more fantastic people.
Whether you have questions about your site and how to run it or just need to talk to someone, there is always someone here in this community that would be willing to lend an ear. Myself included.

Thank you so much. I do feel like this is a great community to be a part of.
