My First Week
I have actually been on Wealthy Affiliate for less than a week now and absolutely love it. I followed the training basically word for word and I have what I feel is a nice website that I can continue to build on.
I did upgrade to premium, in my opinion it is worth it for the training and all of the other benefits. I have received so much help and encouragement from the community so far. This is a nice aspect because most people that are apart of this community have gone through what you are going through and are more than willing to help you.
Future Goals
Since my first week goals have been achieved I guess its time to make some new goals. My next plans and goals are going to be a 1,3, and 6 month outline.
1 month: I would love to be seeing my first site taking off in traffic and ranking on the first page of google for a handful of keywords. At this point I will probably consider putting some affiliate programs up to get some cash flow coming in. I also don't want to saturate my site with ads and things like that because I feel it not only looks tacky but also takes away from the overall picture I am trying to achieve (which is to share my knowledge and educate people) not just sell them things.
3 months: Somewhere between the 1 and 3 months mark I am expecting to see my first site running smoothly and having a constant small stream of incoming coming in. At this point I am going to look for more authors for my site and around the same time most likely create another site or two.
6 months: At this point I want to be managing and have authors for a few sites that are consistently getting good rankings. I would also like to see a nice steady stream of income coming in at this point as well. I am not going to put a number on it, but something that allows me to continue my online empire and put some cash in my pockets.
I will continue to blog about my progress and success and any interesting things that I run into along the way, so be looking out for my blog posts!

Hey Brandon. I like your goals. Remember if you want to achieve those goals you should focus. We are here to help you in case you need help. :)
I like your goals. Glad you upgraded to Premium. WA has been an amazing community. Look forward to reading about your progress.
I am glad as well. The community has helped me so much already. Hopefully I will have some awesome success and progress for you to read about. :)
Hey Brandon…you made the right decision to upgrade as you will not regret it! Nice set of goals….go and do it!
Hi Brandon, This is an awesome plan that you put together! I read that if you write out your goals, you are more likely to complete them because writing them commits you to something more than if you don't. I think I am going to borrow this idea - if you don't mind - and write out my goals with WA. So far, I have not been able to stick to any kind of schedule so I need to put my "nose to the grindstone" and get serious! Thanks for sharing! -Elissa
No problem, that you for the kind words. I totally agree with you. Goals help a lot and keep us on the right path. When you mentioned "schedule" it made me think of possibly making a checklist of common activities to go through for the day. Looks like I know what I am creating next!
