This post is a summary of where I'm at right now. But before that here's a very brief background.

I've have been dipping in and out of internet marketing since 2012. I worked in-house as an SEO Manager for a e-commerce company back then until I left to start my own SEO agency. I had a handful of clients and was happy with that I had but I struggled to scale. I didn't have the skills to keep new leads coming in which led to the business dryingup over time.

I also went through a divorce back then which was messy and I had a bit of a nervous breakdown at the same time. I left the IM world behind me briefly as I recovered and built my life back up again. I gained employment though my passion for SEO and marketing always bubbled away under the surface. I always hated working for somebody else and always strived to start my own business and be the boss of my own freedom once again.

Since those dark times I have tried twice more to build a marketing agency and I've had a couple of attempts at building niche sites to no avail. I almost gave up completely on my IM dream and surrendered to a job. But shortly after the pang of wanting more drove me to try again.

7 weeks ago I went to the doctor with numb feet thinking I had a pinched nerve. I was sent to hospital to have an MRI scan only to xbe told I have lesions on my brain and spinal cord. After a spinal tap and some other test I was diagnosed with relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis which absolutely turned my world upside down. I deteriorated in the weeks that followed and has a nasty 'relapse' which took away my ability to walk and see. Thankfully, with treatment, my mobility has returned but my sight has only just started to resolve.

This is my biggest WHY for really wanting this. I need financial security now more ever along with my time freedom for the sake of my health and wellbeing.

it's not all doom and gloom. My consultant assures me that in the long term with the right treatment and lifestyle changes that my MS condition can be managed and I can live a relatively stable and successful life. So here's to that, I say.

As of today, May 24th 2020, my online income is $0.

I would like to hit $2000/month.

I'm starting from scratch and bringing my previous lessons with me as wisdom moving forward.

I feel certain that with the right mindset, community and consistent effort on my part that I will be successful. I hope to write monthly progress updates to keep myself accountable and so, hopefully, I can look back on my journey and see how far I've come.
