Seeing the fruits of my labor

In my 4th week here at Wealthy Affiliate, the traffic to my website is slowly increasing, and I've made a whopping $.61 through my AdSense ads, woohoo! But seriously, I am pretty excited about it! No bites on any of my affiliate links yet, but I know those will eventually come with more effort, trainings, keyword posts, and traffic.

I've been thinking lately about what an investment Wealthy Affiliate is. You have to lay the foundation and do a lot of work without getting anything for it (except for knowledge, which is totally worth it in my book). Keep that in mind. I know it's hard for a lot of people to not immediately reap any benefits, or namely, see any money. You really have to be willing to do the time and build from the bottom up.

But in time (and it could be A LOT of time), thanks to the work you put in to set up your website, eventually the money can flow in, and you'll be putting forth little effort at that point. My goal when I first joined this site was to earn $500/month. If I reached that goal, then consider making enough to replace a full time job. I have a long way to go, but I still think I can get there.

So keep on keeping on everyone!

Good things come to those who wait work their butts off and never give up! I don't know who said that, but I've always appreciated it. =)
