Wealthy Affiliate Has Taught Me How to Peel Onions
Peeling off the layers of onion needs some kind of a technique to avoid tears. If not done right you may end up crying. Yes, I mean, you will have tears in your eyes and might not be able to see clearly until you stop peeling.
I am happy to say Wealthy Affiliate has taught me how peel onions one layer at a time without rushing or getting frustrated.
The training we get here at WA can be considered as layers of onions. We need to read and do assignments step by step. That way we will avoid skipping the lessons.
I remember those early days when I started doing the lessons, I was rushing and browsing through the lessons much faster without paying attention to details. I was rushing so that I create a website. Everything came to a hault when I had issues with my pages which most of them had errors.
The main reason for the errors was concerning the Privacy Policy and Affiliate Disclosures pages. The pages had or did not have indexing and the infamous "no index, no follow" check marks. l was not using the Jaxxy to chose my keywords. I didn't know how much all this will play a role in my pages getting ranked
This resulted to my website having alerts ghat I had some serious errors. l spent so much time trying to fix the errors. I had to go back to my lessons and do them again. It was painful and frustrating experience but now I know all this could have been avoided if I had paid attention and follow the lessons step by step.
Now that I am just about to finish level 5 of Online Entrepreneur Certification, I see some more layers to be peeled in the Affilliate Boot Camp! I can't tell how many layers Boot Camp has but I have the concept of continuing peeling the onion one layer at a time until I reach the heart of the onion. That's my goal!

Great analogy. I still repeat the OEC training from time to time. I discover things that I overlooked before. Or did not understand the significance of.
This is such a good point, great post. I am also a bit impatient but I am learning to take my time.
