"Rubber bands are only effective when stretched!"
I am in the Super Affiliate Challenge 2020 and to be honest, I have never been in any intense challenge like this one before. The challenge is going on well but sometimes it is overwhelming. Glad they are monthly tasks.
Another good thing is that we all have different challenges and we are able to share them and encourage one another. I have been encouraged so much knowing that I am not alone in this and everyone is ready to help. That is the power of Wealthy Affiliate
The Challenge
When I started the challenge, I concentrated looking at the lesson tasks posted by Kyle but completely ignored the Affiliate Bootcamp training. I thought the monthly tasks were replacing the Affiliate Bootcamp training. I was flat out wrong!
After reading Kyle's post with understanding, I figured it out. Then I realized there was more to do than what I thought. This time I felt like a rubber band ready to be stretched!
I find writing posts to be my greatest weakness. Now that I know why we need to write 3 post a week makes much sense to me. This, I can say, is the life blood to driving free traffic to our blogs. I have to work hard on this.

The past few months I have had some health issues. Every time I got on my desktop trying to write a post, I felt something was not right within my body. Either I got a headache, or my leg pains after sitting for many hours, or my back would pain too. This had made me stay away from the desktop for a while.
Sometimes I would spend hours on the computer but at the end of the day, I saw that there was nothing for me to posts. I also realized there were too many distractions I was entertaining. I needed to change the strategy so that I could be productive when doing the assigned tasks.
The Strategy
I decided to use my Windows Surface tablet more often but this too had a problem of its own. It froze on many sessions. Unfortunately, Google Chrome can not be installed on this tablet. It has Windows Explorer. I guess this tablet has "done its time."
I started thinking of the alternative. The best things was getting a laptop. Unfortunately, I had no budget for it. The only option was going back on my desk top and start typing some posts so that I don't fall behind.
My main worry this time was how I was going to do it without getting stressed out for spending many hours on desktop. While I was contemplating this, something happened that removed my worry.
Surprise!

Last Sunday afternoon, one of our family friends, out of the blue, asked me if I needed a laptop! They were clearing their home and needed to get rid of some items. The laptop happened to be one.
Fast forward, I got the laptop, reset all to factory settings, and downloaded all the updates. I am glad to say this HP laptop is running like a brand new one! It has Windows 10, 8GB Memory and 1 Terabyte Hard Drive. I am so thankful that I got a laptop at the right time.
Conclusion
I am also very excited that things worked out so well. As said earlier, at some point I felt like I was being stretched like a rubber band. I think this is a good thing. Someone said, "Rubber bands are only effective when stretched!" This is very true, we are all getting stretched so that we can be effective to do the challenge!
