Top Spot in Google

5 weeks ago I published a tiny little blog post, only 535 words, It's only my second blog post ever with a word count under 1000.

Today when I typed the quoted keyword phrase for this little article in the search box, I almost got a heart attack.

My little blog post was number 1 out of 20.300 results. It was not just number 1, there was also a big snippet of my blog post with large paragraphs on top of the page before anything else. If I type the keyword phrase without quotes I'm number 22 out of 144.000.000 results.

And as you can see of the numbers it's not a low competition keyword, it makes it even more weird. I've written well researched blog posts with 3-4000 words that I'm really proud of, but they don't rank nearly as well as this little beauty.

I don't know exactly why Google loves this little article so much, but I have a clue. I'll try and publish a post with a similar structure and see if I'm right...Exiting
