On December 6 2018 Wordpress 5.0 were released and with it came the brand new block editor Gutenberg and it really stirred up the Wordpress universe.
But it's only the start of something much bigger.
The new Gutenberg editor is only stage 1 of a 3-stage roll-out strategy.
Stage 2 will focus on page templates.
In stage 3 Wordpress will eventually become a full site customizer.
Exiting times ahead in the Wordpress universe.
