What Made Me Decide To Start My Home Business.

As you know I am new to WA and Premium. I was a SAHM/HW and I decided that I needed something more in my life. So I decided to go back to work. My youngest child is now in high school and is of the age she can be left at home alone. I was job hunting, but it seemed all I could find is waitressing jobs, or fast food jobs. The jobs I was applying for that was better didn't want me as I had been a SAHM for 20 years and had no current previous work experience.
Then August of last year happen. I was hospitalized for Appendicitis. Ended up having an emergency Appendectomy. As I was coming out of anesthesia the doctors came in and told me I had Chrons disease.
Once I was home I was overwhelmed with what to do. I started researching my disease. I found that it was a life long disease with no cure. I knew that I still needed to find something. Something I could do that would generate an income. I knew that going back to work outside of the home was no longer an option.
So what could I do? All I knew about was how to clean a house. Or how to make a meal that anyone from the pickiest of eaters to the I eat everything would eat. I knew how to help my daughter with her boyfriend issue. Or my son's figure out how to deal with their issues. I knew how to take care of my kids and my family, but along the way I kind of lost what interest me.
So when I joined, I did so under my husbands name. I was terrified of starting something like this. I had actually started this right after I got out of the hospital. Joining up at that moment was the only thing that I did. I didn't start any of the lessons. I didn't explore any of the site. I let fear dictate me moving forward.
Fast forward 5 months. January 1st of this year. I looked in the mirror and I said to myself. "Stephanie, what is holding you back? Fear! Okay what are you afraid of? my business not succeeding. Ok, I understand that, but if you don't try you have already failed. What else is holding you back? What if I don't make any money? Well Stephanie, how much are you making not doing anything? None. So what is the difference between doing nothing and not making anything or doing something and not making anything. I said to myself that's easy. If I don't try then I don't stand a chance at making any. So then I said to myself. So what happens if you try? I have a chance.
I have a chance... Let that sink in a bit and I did. I let it sink in all day that day. I thought about that conversation I had admittedly with my reflection all day. I thought about that conversation for 4 more days.
Then on the night of January 4th as I laid in bed. I laid there and I said to myself that I am going to go for it. I got up the next day and I signed back in. I started to do the lessons, but I had done ran out the initial 10 day free period. So I took the plunge and I joined up for the premium account. I busted my butt for a week and a half. I have truly divulged myself in learning what I need to learn. Then I had some medical issues related to my Chrons. I was out of commission for about a week.
So here I am back and completely diving into the work of setting everything up. For me my biggest obstacle is the content writing. Not so much the keywords or the back room, but just writing good quality content that people want read. So I am going to take a step back and just read everything I can on content and creating quality content that will grab peoples attention. I figure I need to get that down pact before I can worry about keywords or anything like that. I would rather have great content that people can relate to first. I can always go back and switch out and make it more keyword rich.
I know that this blog is long. I know it really doesn't add anything here, but I want to look back once I get a hang of what I am doing and remember where I came from. Or in those moments its a struggle. I want to be able to look back on this and read why I am doing what I am doing. I want to remind myself. That the only to go is up.

You can absolutely do this! If you can handle all the other stuff you've handled as a Mom, this will be just one more skill to add to your repertoire. Take it one step at a time - there's no deadline, and ask for help whenever you need it. There's a whole community here to support you. Yes, you can do this.
