The Good Old Times
When I was 9 years old back in 1959 I lived in the little town of Westwood, California and back in those days a child could go out trick or treating and have no hassels whatsoever. I take my youngest grandson every year trick or treating and every year for the past 5 years I have witnessed high school kids going around grabbing younger childrens candy bags.
The younger children of today can' t enjoy Hallloween and see how much fun it can really be. It seems that they go trick or treating in fear now days. It' s a shame. Also in my old home town about 2 weeks before Christmas a whole group of adults and children would walk aruond in the snow and sing Christmas carols. Our winters were more severe back then and there would be about 6 feet of snow on the ground and it was a blast walking around in the snow singing Christmas carols. So why can' t it be the same these days?

Unfortunately morals, integrity, honor, commitment, courage, and humbleness aren't taught any more. Maybe that is just my humble opinion.

Not your humble opinion. What you said is so true.
