Social Security, Renters Credit and The Cost of Living.

A few years ago anyone renting a place to live used to receive a check at the end of each year for $250.00 called renters credit. I think the year was 2003 when the government stopped giveing out those checks because of the economy.

Social Security beneficiaries were getting a raise for the up comeing year. For the year 2016 we will not be getting a raise. Government says we will not get a raise because the cost of living hasn't changed.

My bills are the same every month. If the cost of living hasn't changed then I would like to know why I don't have the money I used to have to buy my groceries? The government just keeps lining their pockets with the money that we paid in. It is a shame that we work so hard for that money and not receive what we deserve.
