I just recently had the same problem, i downloaded malwarebytes and ran a scan. it got rid of the viruses I had. It's free so if you still have the problem, check it out:)

Hello Jazminf,
I will try doing that. Thanks...

You're welcome, hope it works out for you:)

Hello Elias. Checkout my post on malware. I offer tips on removing all kinds of infections: http://technicallyaware.com/do-you-have-a-virus/

Thank you sir. Appreciate it.

No problem.

Looks like Adware

Yes, it might be that.

Sounds like your computer is infected with viruses. I would suggest that you take it to a computer shop as if you don't have the expertise to clean it up, you may make the problem worse. You should also ensure that you have a decent anti virus software installed on your system. In the future, avoid downloading programs as much as possible.

I might do that. I do have some anti virus software on it but it's not doing any good.

Hang in there you can do it perseverance. If you need something were all here.

Thank you Sir.

what is the model of your Asus?

ar5b95

that looks like a newer model with windows 7. What i would suggest is to restore your system to factory settings because it sounds like it's infected with malware.
Rather than spending alot of time trying to remove the viruses, factory restore can be quicker.
Backup all your files that you want to keep - place them on an external harddrive or something.
Once you've done that reboot your computer and hit F9 button on startup until you get a black screen with different options. Select 'Restore to Factory Settings' and follow the instructions.

Note: this will wipe all your data and reinstall windows. So make sure you back up first!

You can also find tutorials on youtube on how to do this. Just search for 'factory restore asus ar5b95'

Thank you so much. I appreciate that.
