Change Can Be Difficult

We are creatures of habit and comfort. And as a result, we can be diametrically opposed to change.

Change can lead to a better way, but it will not if it is never embraced.

The idea of change makes some people so

uncomfortable that it borders on fear. Much like the idea that the earth is flat and so if you travel too far you risk falling off the earth (not really sure who came up with this conclusion).

There once was a time when the idea of man flying was looked at as being preposterous. Flying was an idea that was laughed at, considered as nonsense.

But there were those who believed it could be done. And so they flew (no pun intended) in the face 'practical reasoning'.

And a result man went from this,

to this (it's a flying car),

Now if you were to ask someone today about flying, their response would be 'matter-a factly'.

Flying today is commonplace. But there was a time when it was considered a ridiculous idea, sheer nonsense.

Change Is Inevitable

Change, like time, is inevitable.

The idea of being able to connect with people from all over the world right from the comfort of your home is so commonplace today thanks to the internet and social media.

But in spite of this, there are those who do not believe that they can experience total time and financial freedom by owning and building their own international business right from the comfort of their own home.

We are no longer living in the Industrial Age. We are now living in the Information / Communication Age. Today's technology enables anyone to operate a home-based business right from their home.

In fact, the technology that is in place today allows anyone to operate a phone-based business which means they can do business from virtually anywhere.

But just as the limiting beliefs of the past caused many to never 'risk traveling too far', or attempting to fly (or at least believe in the idea of flying), even so, today there will be those who will never experience the benefits of owning a home-based (phone-based) business.

How much are you compensated for the time that you give to your place of employment? When you consider the fact that your time is your life, can you say that your pay is commensurate with your time? In other words, instead of your pay being commensurate with the time that you work, what if it were commensurate with your worth? To be paid your worth, you may have to embrace the idea of change. You may need to 'risk' falling off the earth, or believing that you can fly in order to experience life.

It has been said that 97% of all startup businesses fail. I say leave the 97% and find out what the 3% are doing and follow them

Great stuff - thanks.
Just think 40 years ago you needed a building to house a computer and it probably wasn't as powerful as today's laptops.

That is so true Boucherda. In fact, heard somewhere that today's smartphones carry more technology than the first rocket ship to travel to the moon. Btw, congrats on your cooking website.

Thanks
