Fortune Favors the Bold
Mark Twain said "the two most important days of your life are the day you were born and the day you found out why." Your niche here on Wealthy Affiliate may be your why. However at times you may get discouraged because you are not seeing the results you desire. I want to give you something you can use when you are discouraged and don't feel like moving forward.
I read and listen to a lot of motivational books. After hearing for the millionth time about having a morning routine, I decided to make it happen. Why? Because my full-time job that involves working for someone else can be challenging. I needed something that was going to keep me moving through the day with positive energy. Also, I desired to find something that gave me the hope that I could leave my job and work for myself, which I found here on Wealthy Affiliate. So now I get up at 5 am on workdays (and some weekends) and complete a morning routine. My morning routine involves listening to short motivational videos on YouTube.
As a result of feeling more "pep in my step" after listening to these videos, I decided it would be important to share this with others. So my husband and I created a Facebook group called "Fortune Favors the Bold." Why did we use that title? Well first of all it is a statement from Star Trek that my husband loves. But most importantly, working for yourself and putting yourself out there is a bold move. It's not for everyone. And when you work long and hard enough at it without giving up, you WILL see your fortune. I am not there yet as I am a newbie here but I believe it will happen for me. It's not easy to maintain that attitude everyday so we created the Facebook page that people can refer to for motivation when they need it.
One of the reasons why I love being a part of the Wealthy Affiliate community is because people lift each other up. They help one another. It's not about competing but supporting each other in his or her dream to be a successful business owner.
Since I have noticed that some people get discouraged and want to give up when they aren't seeing the Wealthy Affiliate results they want, I decided to share a video with this community that you can watch over and over again when you get down in the dumps. I am quite certain after watching this video you will feel alive again with a renewed spirit to keep moving forward. thanks for the encouragement and the support! Yes, building a website on Wealthy Affiliate can sometimes bring discouragement because you don't become a millionnaire quickly but I like that beause it means that you build something valuable over time. I also like your reflection on morning routine. I also have one myself and I Wake up early (5.30 am). Anyway, keep going!
