Should you use a plugin to manage your internal linking, or just do all your internal linking manually?
I recommend manual links, but I haven't tried anything automated yet, so can't say whether it works or not.
My guess is that you don't need that many internal links for good on-page SEO, and you'll ALWAYS be able to make better decisions than a robot! I Just Hit 5,000 Instagram Followers. My Take on Automation.
Ok good, I'll just keep in manual... I'm just starting out so there's not much content anyway. This is what I like about this community - honest answers from experts who really want to help. Thanks so much!
The plugin I use doesn't automate link building. Instead, it gives internal link suggestions based on keywords I used within my article. It also gives me a report, so I can see how many of my articles have internal links going out, but are orphaned (or have only a few pointing to the article). It's a luxury; not a necessity though.
Link Whisper. You’ve probably seen the guy that made it around. He made a keyword research plugin that he sold majority shares of the business.
I would add the links manually as you write each article.
A couple reason why...
The anchor text will be more natural and keep with the flow of your article.
Adding to many plugins could affect your site performance so if you can do someone without a plugin it a bonus.

It depends on what's easiest for you. I started using a plugin to help with it a few months back and it's made the process much more efficient for me. Before, I did it manually. It's a preference. No hard rule either way.

Is there a cpanel for our websites hosted with WA?
You can load HTML on your pages but for server activity, you will need to consult Site Support. There is no access to Cpanel.
What are you trying to do? You can go to Websites on the left and then click on "View Details" and it will give you the FTP address that you need to upload anything like .htaccess, etc...
At Jay's webinar last night we learned to use Google Console to check our site's, whether it is indexed or not and to request an indexing from Google. However when you put the url of the site you want to check it runs a verification check and my site won't verify so then it gives you several ways for Google to verify your site. One was to upload some HTML code to your site. So I was trying to find a way to do that.
Do you use any SEO plugin like Yoast? If you do, they will have a section in the plugin where you can enter Google and other verification codes.
I use the All In One SEO plugin and you can enter it in there along with Google analytics, Yahoo, etc...
I have the all in one SEO plugin, but not the pro version. Does it need to be pro version?

SITE VERIFIED! thanks, they wanted just part of the HTML code pasted into that field and Bam, it worked!
Yes! I use the plugin WP File Manager. Super easy to use and then you have a place to upload Pinterest HTML, and new fonts, or whatever else you need to do!

That is a plugin you don't need to keep. If you need it, download it, use it for what you need to do, then delete it. You can do this over and over again as you need it and it will keep your site nice and fast. I do it all the time.
