Baby Steps?
It's barely a week since I joined in. I was desperately looking for material to start building on because I only knew affiliate marketing was a greener pasture, but didn't know how to start. I stumbled on a WA link while reading one of the many materials online on the subject. I had already signed up for quite a number of affiliate programs and even got the affiliate links to start promoting. But I had no idea of even what SEO meant.
The first 10 lessons on level 1 shed a light and I couldn't wait to learn more. So I took a loan and signed for premium, what I was interested in was at the very least, information....let's call it knowledge.
My post now has say two posts leave alone the pages, and I must say it's enticing. Honestly speaking I kind of made a rush while choosing my niche because after writing the two posts I feel it's dry taps.
I hope I can be more objective on what I really want to focus on. So I look forward to do a make over of the website and settle for a niche that I will not struggle to come up with content on.
I have not yet had an earning so far, I guess it's gonna take time and input, though I have tried to invite others over through the affiliate link.
In the coming weeks I'll be focusing on loading more content on my website, follow through the trainings and do the tasks. I really hope I catch Google's eye and move up the ranks.
In six months I know I'll be home and dry with affiliate marketing, enough to help newbies who probably be feeling what I am feeling now.
I had a question, what happens when one cannot renew the $49@month subscription, will the account be paused till he pays his dues or what? I hope I won't come to that and that I'll start earning soon enough to repay the loan and renew for premium.

I wish you success here at WA. I don't know what your niche is and if you plan to change it that will take a little more time. Apart from SEO social media is a good traffic driver. However unless your niche is extremely popular with little competition it may be awhile before you are able to get the traffic and sales rolling in. Sharing your WA link with family and friends is an excellent idea to bring in some quick money if they will sign up for the premium membership and stick with it. That might help you keep up your membership until you are able to start bringing in sales from your website.
I managed to set it and it's up and running with twice as many posts as the other one. But it's yet to be indexed by google
Welcome, Samuel, to Wealthy Affiliate.
You have come to the right platform to learn how to build an online business. I believe you have gone through some of the training. Why not go through the rest? Online Entrepreneur Certification - Getting Started Level 1 You got very good goals there. Just go through the training, step by step. I know you are rushing for time and I know your difficulty ... but my mentor once told me, when there is a will, there is a way. If I cannot overcome a small problem, how am I going to overcome a bigger problem? I hope you get what I mean.
All the best to you and happy learning.
