Security Breach at Canva.
I am a member of the security website 'Have I Been Pawned dot com', and today I have recieved an email from HIBP informing me of a security breach at Canva.
I know that many of my fellow WA members have accounts at Canva and I would advise anyone who has an account at Canva to log in and change thier password, the message I recieved is as follows;
In May 2019, the graphic design tool websiteCanva suffered a data breach that impacted 137 million subscribers. The exposed data included email addresses, usernames, names, cities of residence and passwords stored as bcrypt hashes for users not using social logins.
It is always advisable to use strong unique passkeys on all of your accounts in case of security breaches.

Thanks for sharing, I was aware of this and it was one of the reasons I haven't been using Canva
Like you say strong passwords are important and if you don't have one, you are doing the same as leaving the front door open to your home
Without giving away any secrets, don't use your pets name or any PIN numbers you might have and try and use symbols such as !$@ to make it more secure
Yes, I know because I logged into Canva, and was redirected to change password. It looks like no one is safe from hackers. Nevertheless, that should not discourage one from our online work.
Thanks for the info
