This diagram shows the Enterprise LLM-SEO Funnel. It is a breakdown of how a large company can get its content by both traditional SEO engines like Google and new AI systems like ChatGPT. It is basically a step by step guide to making sure your website is not only technically sound, but also authoritive and engaging.
Crawlability
In other words, can my site be found? This is the very first step of the diagram. It shows that if a search engine or an AI can't read your website, nothing else matters. Think of crawlers as little robots that go out and and read every page on the internet.
The goal is to make it easy for the robots to access pages of your site. The tactic is involving technical concepts like making sure Javascript doesn't hide content and managing your crawl budget so search engines don't waste time on unimportant things.
Indexation and Visibility
Meaning: Is my page in the library? Once a search engine has read your page, the next step is to put it in its library (the index). Just because it read your page, it doesn't mean that it is saved.
The goal is to get your most important pages saved and ready to be shown to users. The tactic includes creating smart sitemaps that tell search engines what is important , using structured data (schema) to give them extra information about your content, and monitoring how well your page is being indexed.
Authority and Content Leadership
Meaning: Am I an expert on this topic? When your pages are visible, the next step is to prove that you are an expert in your field. This is when you rank above your competitors.
The goal is to show both search engines and users that you are the most knowlegdeable and trustworthy source. The tactic involves creating a massive amount of high-quality content on related topics , using internal links to connect your content , and making sure your information is fresh and up to date.
Experience (SXO)
Meaning: Is this site a pleasure to use? This is a new and important concept that you can see on the funnel. This part involves turning a technical visit into a great user experience.
The goal is to make the site more faster, intuitive and truly helpful for the user. The tactic for this is making sure that your site loads quickly (fast UX) , personalizing the experience for different types of users , and using interactive tools like calculators, or quizzes to engage them.
Visibility in AI.
Meaning: Are you showing up in ChatGPT? The concept is located at the top of the funnel, right where all the previous steps pay off. This is about leveraging all that great data and experience to get your content directly into AI results.
The goal here is to get your pages used by AI models to answer questions and get direct traffic from those interactions. The tactic here includes creating specific landing pages for AI-Driven traffic , tracking how people interact with your content after coming from an AI source , and making sure your lead capture process is set to convert that traffic
